Born of Welsh heritage and smitten with Romany wanderlust , I was blessed with the gift of song and a yearning for the road. It wasn't until the age of 13, that the two became one and I started to write my own songs. This coincided with my Tad teaching me my first four chords on his guitar, and from that moment on, the Minstrel was born!
Life has a funny way of creating detours in the middle of best laid plans, and mine was certainly quite a maze which saw the Minstrel lost and the music silent for many years.
Thankfully, all that has changed!

The upstairs room to my Grandma's house.

Nor a dream not pushed to the back of the stove.
